Eligibility Criteria for SSP Post Matric Scholarship:
Social Welfare Department
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be less than INR 2,50,000.
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
Benefits: Complete fee reimbursement for hostel (both private and government)
Department of Technical Education
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be between than 2.5 lakhs and 10 lakhs
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
Benefits: Complete fee reimbursement
Tribal Welfare Department
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Family’s annual income must be INR 2,50,000 or less
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
Benefits: Complete fee reimbursement for both government and private colleges
Department of Minority Welfare
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Must belong from SC/ST/OBC category
- Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2,00,000
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination
Benefits: Complete reimbursement of hostel fees (both private and government)
Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board
- Must be a resident of Karnataka
- Annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 10,00,000
- Must have scored at least 50% in the last examination

Department of Backward Class Welfare
- For students belonging from category 1, the annual family income less or equal to INR 2,50,000
- For students belonging from 2A, 3A, 3B and OBC categories, the annual family income should be less or equal to INR 1,00,000

- Must be a resident of Karnataka
